SAMBICA Summer Camp
When I worked full-time at SAMBICA, a non-profit summer camp, I wore a lot hats. When I wasn’t recruiting, hiring, and training staff for summer camp, I was busy promoting SAMBICA’s programs. I was responsible for executing marketing campaigns from concept to completion, including photography, copy-writing, graphic design, and production management. I helped grow camper attendance by over 20%.
The promotional materials are fun, high energy and focus on SAMBICA’s unique distinctive — watersports. I designed the summer camp brochure as a 12-page booklet (finish size: 5.5″ x 11″) for three reasons: 1) the large size stands out in the mail, 2) it maximizes the press sheet size, keeping print costs down, and 3) it mails at a letter rate rather than a flat rate, keeping postage costs down.
